Ordered for a Netgear POE switch that has a SPIF port on it and it works flawlessly. If you're looking for a relatively budget option this is it. Runs at 1gb/s and works great for my switch.

Works great with new Cisco Business CBS250-16P-2G Smart Switch. Plugs right into either fiber port...then I plugged an RJ45 cable from home router into the transceiver. Sends network signals to all 16 RJ45 ports on switch.

Using SFP modules to connect router and switch. It's only 1GB, but the switch indicates that the SFP modules have separate, full bandwidth connections. Seems to work - my network seems faster, and it freed up an RJ45 port. I see no reason NOT to upgrade to SFP modules, especially at this price.
